Cotton Candie–Spring’s Delight

Is it possible that spring has finally sprung?  Rain?  Bring it on…at least that means it’s too warm to snow!  However, spring is indeed a fickle mistress, and I am not scorched by the heat of her affections.   Be prepared by arming yourself with some seriously sweet eye candy that makes layering look totally chic!

Candie, how do I love thee?  Let me count the ways…

While most Ponte knits are primarily polyester and rayon (too ’60s for my taste), kika’s blend is uniquely spun from organic cotton and nylon for updated luxury and extra breathability.  Ahhh.  Then there’s Candie’s super-sweet detailing–an adjustable flounce collar, trench coat wrap styling, and row upon row of pintuck pleating.

Am I the only one vacillating between wanting to get the last few wears out of my wintery looks yet  eager to embrace all things spring?  Take a cue from our last post by inserting a summery hued top to lighten up your color scheme and begin weaning yourself from knee-highs (those babies have gotten plenty of wear!) to ankle boots or even something that actually bares some skin.  Crazy talk, right?

Whether you choose to wear Candie as your spring overcoat or the pièce de résistance of your outfit, these springy ensembles are bound to keep you fashionably cloaked without looking like you need to be and usher in spring, right?

    • Yes Suzy it is available in 10 colors when working with a kika stylist, if you need the name of a stylist let us know.

  1. I just discovered your line through one of your stylists and I am so happy I did! It has been hard to find really cute clothing that is soft, comfortable and so easy to care for. I look forward to building my kika wardrobe.
